## Why now

AI search is taking citation share from Google — and the way agents read your site is nothing like a browser. ChatGPT and Claude don't run your JavaScript. **Is it really free?**

Yes. Rate-limited (3 reports/day per IP, 2/hour per domain) so it stays free for everyone. No card, no signup. We charge for the install — the score stays free.

**Do you store my URL?**

The report URL and the pages we crawled, yes — for 30 days. Your individual report link stays unlisted unless you share it. After 30 days it expires.

**How is this different from Lighthouse or an SEO tool?**

Lighthouse measures browser performance. SEO tools measure Google's spider. We measure what AI agents see — same fetch method, same lack of JavaScript execution, same parsing logic. Different signal, different score.

**What's an AEO score, really?**

"Answer Engine Optimization" — the visibility a page has to AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini). Our score covers rendering, schema, citations, freshness, robots, llms.txt, and 8 more signals across 5 layers.

**What if my site is behind auth?**

We score what's publicly reachable. If your homepage is gated, we'll surface that as the finding — that's also what agents see. Public marketing pages typically work fine.

**What do I do after I see my score?**

The report has concrete fixes per page. You can ship them yourself. If you'd rather we take care of it, the install snippet does the heavy lifting — middleware that renders agent-readable HTML on the fly. The score gets you out of pain regardless.
